Some facts about Jewish history and current events

  • Did you know that the British Mandate for Palestine included both the eastern side of the Jordan River - what is now the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as entire western side of the Jordan River?

  • Did you know that in 1922, Great Britain gave the Eastern part of the Palestine Mandate to the Arabs over the objections of the Jewish people?
  • Did you know that the Kingdom of Jordan occupies 75% of the original Palestine mandate?

  • Therefore, western Palestine totals only 25% of the Mandate? Thus, if a Palestinian state is established in the West Bank and Gaza, almost 90% of the total land mass of Palestine would be Arab territory.

  • Do you know the third holiest city of Islam?
Would you be surprised to know it's Damascus and not Jerusalem?

  • In 1949 the Arab League passed a resolution to force the 1 million Jews then living in Arab countries to leave their homes as penniless refugees under the pretence of "population exchange." In the words of Prime Minister Nouri Al-Said of Iraq, in 1950, this was "to make homes for the Palestinian Arab refugees." Today Palestinians occupy most of our people's homes in Baghdad, Damascus, Beirut, and Cairo, and all the Arab League needs to do is declare its proposal formally implemented..
